Who is Mindi Fetterman?

Mindi Fetterman has lived on the Treasure Coast since 2003.  She has been married to "my biggest supporter and friend, Adam, for 20 years and we have a very cool nine year old son. We love to rock out in our living room and when the music isn't on, I'm working full time running The Inner Truth Project."

The Inner Truth Project serves the needs of adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, rape, incest or sexual violence. "We educate, empower and energize people all along the Treasure Coast to live victoriously as survivors after violence, not as victims," explains Mindi. " Our center and advocacy programs grew organically to fill a void for adult survivors when I started publicly sharing my personal story of abuse and rape. I quickly learned just how many people in the community were living in silence and shame, just like me."

Please check out and LIKE this organization's Facebook page, and get updates on their events, at www.innertruthproject.org.

Mindi has a deep passion for volunteering and giving back. She is extremely grateful for the opportunities she's had in her life and "I try to live that gratitude through service." She is on several local boards and committees and has been a patient volunteer for Hospice. She trained her dog as a therapy dog and when time allows, she works with autism groups and supports women's health centers.

Mindi says, "I believe there is no shame in experiencing sexual violence. The acts we've lived through are not our fault and they do not define us. I want people to know they are bigger and better than the secret they are holding onto and it's never too late to let it out and start healing."
