Paula's Work with the Military

For the past 25 years, Nicoletti has been serving as a volunteer ombudsman for all branches of the U.S. military reserve forces. She helps employers and reservists understand the law as it relates to deployment to make it a more positive experience for both parties. The Department of Defense assigns her cases all over the country. "I work with one person at a time in the military, to take the burden off, so this person doesn't need to worry about his job or his family during deployment," she says.

Paula has also been active with the Centennial Project for the City of Stuart, working to get a statue of a police officer and K-9 Beny (who served the department since 2003) underwritten so it can stand outside the Stuart Police Department in honor of all canine officers.

Paula's Personal Mission

"We all see things a bit differently and we all have opportunities to serve others," says Paula. "I want to do things that make a difference and have a positive impact on individuals as well as the community as a whole."
